Moon

I have seen the dawn of man,
But never see the dawn
I've pulled the oceans closer,
But never touched them

My light touches the morning glories
But they close their petals to me
I love the earth as much as brother Son
But the earth loves him more than me

I can cast a light on every lake
But I cannot make it blue
I can be gazed upon freely
but nobody looks at me

I am the moon, humble and small
